Serialized Inventory - Convert to Inventory Item
We want to move away from serialized inventory and only want to track the number as it ships to the customer, not being received into inventory.
Question 1:
I was think of setting up a custom transaction line filed on the item fulfillment to capture these by scanning the bar codes as the warehouse packs them. Can this be done?
Question 2:
We would need to convert the Serialized Items into Inventory Items. Can we do this via CSV import or what would be the best way to approach this?
