Oracle NS WMS - Pick/Put Strategies, Bins
I'm working on a reorganization project in our warehouse. We'd like to start moving toward guided picking and put away. In the past, we've only used WMS Zones and Bins. We have a few pick/put strategies, but nothing very specific (our needs are changing).
I notice in bin set up, we now have a sequence number, we can use bin types (storage, picking, etc). I also see WMS Bin Location Type, WMS Aisle, WMS Level.
Is any of that info communicated to the RF or is it used only in the set up to create priority?
What are the best practices for setting up a new warehouse location using bins with WMS?
