HSBC Connect ID?

I'm trying to set up our Netherlands bank account so it can export a SEPA payment run to import into HSBC. I have viewed the account from the Company Bank Details list, and set the EFT Template as "SEPA Credit Transfer (HSBC)". One of the EFT Template Details it requests is an "HSBC Connect ID". I have asked our bank what this is and they don't know. Does anyone know what this is?
