How to Fix Inventory with no Bin

Hello,

We noticed we have inventory in our Netsuite account with no bin.

Under Inventory Detail, it shows we have 4pcs on hand in three different bins.

However, under Inventory Statuses, we have 54pcs. There are 50pcs with no bin in our system right now.


We looked into our transaction history and found out this 50pcs came from a bill that we somehow created with no Inventory Detail. Unfortunately, the posting period of this bill is already closed and we cannot re-open it.


We tried to fix it by adjusting them out, but Netsuite is not allowing us to create an adjustment without selecting a bin. We received a same error message when we tried to process vendor return authorization transaction as well.
