Is it possible to convert an item to a different item type?
Generally, no. However, this is possible for converting Non-Inventory Items to Inventory Items only.
Are there any other item types that can be converted?
At this time, users can only convert Non-Inventory Items or Other Charge Items to either Regular Inventory Items or Serialized/Lot Numbered Inventory items. Other item types are not yet supported.
Are there existing enhancement requests about converting items to other item types?
