Tips on How to Troubleshoot an Unexpected Error when Running a Saved Search

Below is the list of the possible reasons why we run an error while running a saved search.

  1. Check if the search is from a bundle.
  2. Clear browsing history.
  3. Check the Criteria used.
  4. Isolate the fields you want to populate.
  5. Check if there is a formula/custom field. Correct the formula and resubmit.
  6. Check if the Administrator and other users can run the search.
  7. Check if the saved search contains more than 100 columns in Results tab. Remove unnecessary columns.
  8. Try setting the Output Type to Normal.
  9. Recreate the search.
