NSC | Restrict Custom Role From Using Custom as Price Level on Sales Order
As a standard behavior, it is not possible to restrict Custom as a Price Level on Items sublist when editing a Sales Order record. This is logged to Enhancement 51388 Restrict roles to not be able to use Custom price level on transactions.
An Alternative Solution was found for this.
1. Customize Sales Order form to hide the Price Level column
1. Navigate to Customization > Forms > Transaction Forms
2. Preferred Form: Click Customize/Edit
3. Click Sublist Fields tab
4. Price Level:
§ Show: Remove Checkmark
5. Click Save
2. Restrict Custom Role to use the Custom Form
1. Navigate to Setup > Users/Roles > Manage Roles
2. Preferred Custom Role: Click
