NetSuite Admin Tip: Remove Parent Item Name in Saved Searches
When creating Item Saved Searches, the Name field displays the parent matrix item name before the matrix child, (example: Parent Item : Matrix Child).
The Ability to remove the parent matrix item in Inventory Reports is not available yet in the system and Enhancement # 161435 has been filed requesting for this.
As a workaround to display only the Child Item name in the saved search, users can use a Formula (Text) field with either of the following formula:
- LTRIM(REGEXP_SUBSTR({name},'[^:]*$'))
- REGEXP_REPLACE(REGEXP_SUBSTR({name},': [^:]+*$'),': ','')
- CASE WHEN {parent} is NULL THEN {name} ELSE {feedname} END
