NSC | FAM > Possible Causes why the Asset/s Did Not Depreciate
Here are some of the reasons why Assets did not depreciate.
- The Subsidiary set on the Asset Record may be set to Inactive.
To resolve this, set the Subsidiary Record to Active.
Set Up > Company > Subsidiaries
Click Edit on the Subsidiary Record
Remove the tick mark on Subsidiary is Inactive
Click Save
Values on the Asset Record may have been edited but the Reset Asset Values was not triggered
Edit the Asset Record and update all the necessary fields
On the General Tab, set the Depreciation Active field to False
Click on Save
Navigate to Fixed Assets > Setup > System Setup
