Considering stepping back to backflush

edited May 5, 2022 5:58PM in Ask A Guru 2 comments

We have an environment where we have Advanced Manufacturing (using the tablets), Lots, Bins and NS WMS. We have reached the point of waving the white flag and surrendering on trying to issue materials to Work Orders. While we wanted the higher accuracy of issuing what we actually used, instead of what we should have used; we have been consistently unable to perform this task with the necessary accuracy.

So, we are at the point of evaluating making the change to an auto-issue, backflush, method of Work Order Issues.

  • What factors should we be considering?
  • Is there a good reference document for the implementation details of backflush?

Howdy, Stranger!
