How to solve Invalid date format when scanning GS1 barcodes?

edited Sep 5, 2022 4:36PM in Ask A Guru 5 comments

Hello,

How do we solve or get around this issue we have when scanning GS1 barcodes with dates encoded as eg: 240800 ? In other barcode scanning apps, this is scanned as 2024/07/31.

We have no issues scanning dates with properly formatted dates, eg: day as 1 to 31. Only issues when day is 00.

Also, what is the key for custom GS1 identifier Production Date? According to the documentation, it should be "prod_date" but this is somehow not working. Even expiry date is different from the doc which is "expiry_date" but NetSuite uses "expiryDate" as the key. Tried "prodDate" and "productionDate" but both aren't working.
