How to identify source of native NetSuite field?

Hello All,

I was hoping that someone could explain how to find where a field is sourcing its value from. Right now the field in question is the Balance field on the Billing Information subtab of the Sales Order. I would like to know how to find the source and/or identify if it is a calculated field. I looked at the form, have looked in all the field types, record types, and scripts with no luck. Thank you in advance.
