Is it possible to use Serial and Lot Numbers concurrently?

Hi Team,

Is there a way in NetSuite to use serial and lot numbers in an inventory/assembly item?

The use case is that each inventory has a unique serial number and also included in a certain batch, it is required track which batch this inventory came from since the item is also consumable.

If this is not available, what would be the best practice or possible workaround with this process?
