How to setup fixed Run Time in Manufacturing Routing?
Run Time associated with a work center in manufacturing routing only depends on quantities of the work order: we cannot handle fixed machine run time.
To understand the issue, the following is a use case that is practically found on any chemical company that has mixing operations.
In fact, mixing machines have a fixed setup time (setup time) given by the loading and flushing of the machine and a machine run time (always fixed, e.g., 1 hour for a single operation).
How would this situation be manageable with the current Manufacturing Routing record structure? I have only one fixed time field available. This obviously acts incorrectly on the costing of the operation.
