How are Shipping Item Weights calculated?
Hello Guru,
Wondering if you can help. When Item weight is in use, NS calculates a shipping cost for the Sales Order. It's typically not terribly accurate. What is the source of the data used in the upfront search.
i.e. Does the Item weight calculation consider default box amounts and go to (i.e. Fed EX site and pull the real time rate or is there a more basic calculation done upfront.
I'm just not finding the detailed documentation I was hoping for.
