How to fix Effective Date Pricing Error: SSS_INVALID_SUBLIST_OPERATION?

Hi Gurus,

I have set up Effective Date Pricing by item and the script successfully updates some items but the majority fails with the above error. I cannot see any difference between the items that are updated and the ones that fail. Any ideas what to check?
