NSC | Customize Comparative Balance Sheet Report for Specific Period
User would like to have a comparative Balance Sheet that compares two specific period (i.e. February 2023 to February 2022). This is beneficial in analyzing data over specific periods of time which will then aid in the Company's decision-making process.
Solution:
1. Navigate to Reports > Financial > Comparative Balance Sheet
2. Click Customize
3. Click Edit Columns radio button.
4. On the Report Preview section, click/highlight the Amount column then set the following:
- Alternate Period Range = select (Custom)
- Alternate Period Range Type = select Relative to Today's Date
- Periods = Select desired Comparative Period (i.e. February 2023)
5. On the Report Preview section, click/highlight the Comparison Amount
