NSC | Disposal of fully depreciated fixed asset
Asset Disposal is not standardly used for Fully Depreciated Assets in consequence of it you might encounter the Error message: “Quantity Disposed cannot be greater than the Asset Quantity.”
In case you have an asset that is fully depreciated and you need to disposal it in order to keep the inventory updated you might use the following workaround:
- Edit the Asset Record
- Navigate to Maintenance Tab
- Set Quantity to 1
- Click Save
- Perform the Disposal (SA 19272)
