NSC | How to notify other users when a script encounters an error
Scenario
The user wants their team of developers to be able to receive emails when a script runs into an error. By default, only the script owner receives this email.
Solution
1. Go to Customizations > Scripting > Scripted Records.
2. Open the Script in Edit Mode.
3. Go to the Unhandled Errors Subtab.
4. Input the email addresses of the target recipients in the Notify Emails field.
NOTE: This field is comma delimited.
5. Alternatively, you can also choose to tick:
- Notify Current User – If enabled, NetSuite sends an email to the logged-in user of the script whenever an error is thrown.
- Notify All Admins – If enabled, NetSuite sends an email to all users with the Administrator role whenever an error is thrown.
