Set up a bank account: how to find immediate origin and company ID numbers?

edited Jun 2, 2025 2:38PM in Ask A Guru 2 comments

Dear community,

We've been trying to set up a Chase bank account to process payments. When setting up the account, the system is asking for 2 numbers (immediate origin and company ID) that all the persons we talked to at the bank are unable to give us.

Did one of you ever had to set up a Chase account? If yes, were these 2 numbers mandatory? At what bank service did you speak to gather these numbers?

Or is just possible that we don't need these 2 numbers and just routing and account numbers?

I would highly appreciate your help as nobody has been able to help us until now!

Howdy, Stranger!
