How to auto-populate lot numbers for Lot Numbered Items and Lot Auto Numbering SuiteApp?

I have installed the Lot Auto Numbering SuiteApp into our Sandbox to test Lot Number functionality.

I have the SuiteApp 'working' - but it appears I need to open the Inventory Detail and fill in the Quantity and Bin Location (despite having a default bin location set for the item/location) before the 'Auto Numbering' will trigger. Also, there is a noticeable delay and the popup screen refreshes before you can enter these details (I'm guessing this is a script from the SuiteApp overriding the default screens).


Is there any way for the Lot Auto Numbering rules to work alongside the default bin functionality so that Items can be booked into the default location with minimal user input (and a lot number assigned automatically)?
