How to put customer partnumber in Sales order API--Apparel?

Hi,

We are using Apparel industry solution. If we enter Customer part number in UI, Item details capturing in Sales order line.

When we try to replicate same in API (Via Postman), system expects Item id instead of customer part number.

Any suggestions?
