Manufacturing of assembly allowing uncommited items

Hello Team,

I have changed manufacturing preference to Limit to Committed.


After this Im still able to built a work order even I dont have inventory available for some items:


I have 0 commited. 0 allocated. Need to use 7 units to build and I was able to finish:


Is that a defect?
