uncommited items not showing on fulfill page only when sales order has a value set for sales channel

edited Aug 12, 2023 4:41PM in Ask A Guru 3 comments

We use advanced inventory and have Setup> Accounting Preferences> Order Management> Fulfillment> FULFILL BASED ON COMMITMENT> Allow Uncommitted, selected.

On sales orders with NO VALUE 'null' set for saleschannel, any items not committed DO NOT SHOW on the list to fulfill where you are able to force it and override the commitment. You can take the same sales order, remove the sales channel value, and they display and allow you to add to the fulfillment. Is this a defect?

Possibly related to this issue, but still testing, we have had some IF (only ones with a sales channel selected) make it into shipstation through the farapp connector with items that were on the sales order, but not committed, nor were on the IF in netsuite. Literally have double shipped items because they were in the first IF in shipstation and then a later IF that does match netsuite once committed. Again, only when a saleschannel was selected on the sales order and actually how i noticed this possible defect about what items were displaying.

Howdy, Stranger!
