Freelancer cost on Projects best practice

Hello guru's,

We use the projects & services module within NetSuite for our own software development projects. For these projects we use internal employees and freelancers. I'm searching for way to deal with the costs/hours of the freelancers on these projects:

  • Should a freelancer be a vendor with the option 'Project Resource' enabled.
    • How to deal with the bill that will be received from this freelancer (Vendor)?
    • How can you offset the purchase bill within a project with the booked hours on a project task?

Hopefully anyone has experience with this scenario.
