Why does Advanced Numbering on Invoice not recognizing external numbers?

Hello

As per Suite answer 98219, when you have Advanced numbering enabled and you are importing invoices, then:

In my case, when I am importing invoices, the system behaves as if I do not have external document numbers mapped on the csv import and assigns its own numbers. (I want to clarify that in my import file there are document numbers and they are mapped)

If I update the imported invoices, during the update, the invoice # gets updated but I want to achieve the correct invoice number with the first import of the invoices, not through an update.

I have tested in other accounts and the system there behaves as per the Suite answer - I can assign the correct number when I am importing the invoice.
