How to create an Inventory history with balance report?

Is there a way to create a report in NetSuite that starts with the opening balance and shows all the inventory with their transactions and has a running balance of stock on hand.

Ideally we want to display the item with all the transactions that have been made. If it's invoices, then it will decrement the balance and if it's receipts etc, it will increase the balance. Is there a way to achieve this?

I have looked at the Inventory Activity Detail report. Could that be possibly customised to show this information?
