How to make the Date field editable on Sales Orders?

Hi All,

I hope you're doing well.

I am looking to edit the Date field on our Sales Order form.

Specifically, we are looking to change this field so that: 1) It defaults to today's date (which it already does) and 2) that this field cannot be edited. I.e. so Sales Orders can only be submitted with today's date.

Can anybody let me know if there is a way to do this?
