NSC | Encrypt SSN in Vendor Record
Scenario: User has Vendors who use their own SSN as Tax ID. They would like to encrypt or hide it from the 1099 Reports.
Currently when printing 1099 forms, tax IDs are exposed.
Also, Enhancement 213043 Lists > Relationships > Vendors > List > Mask Tax ID of a vendor record (individual) as system pulls up SSN is logged for this behavior.
Here are the alternate solutions we may try:
- Manually input SSN after printing the 1099 form.
- Hide field from other roles.
To hide a field from other Roles, we can use a Custom Form. Here are the steps to follow:
- Preferred Entity Form: Click Customize/Edit
