NSC | Unable to See the Apply Withholding Tax on Bill Credits

edited Jun 2, 2025 2:44PM in Accounting / ERP

Scenario

User would like to know how the field "Apply Whtax" is checked in the customized Bill Credit form but not reflected on the UI.

Solution

The Apply WHT checkbox is not yet available on Bill Credits. Upon further checking, the ability to auto-calculate withholding tax on a Vendor Credit is not yet supported by the bundle and this is currently logged under Enhancement 456173 Transactions > Payables > Enter Vendor Credits/Credit Memo Be able to calculate Withholding Tax in a standalone Bill Credit and allow it to show up in Withholding Tax Reports.

For the meantime, the alternate solution is to manually enter the Withholding Tax Payable line under the Expenses subtab of the Vendor Credit record.
