NSC | How to Create a Dataset for Non-Elimination Transactions Using Elimination Accounts
SCENARIO
User is tasked with creating a dataset in NetSuite to identify transactions posted in non-elimination subsidiaries that are not marked for elimination but are using elimination accounts. This is important for the finance team to ensure that elimination accounts are used correctly and only for intended purposes.
SOLUTION
This is possible especially if the account is a non Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable and users may have unchecked the Elimination checkbox in transactions.
1.) Click on Analytics
2.) Go to Datasets > New Datasets
3.) Select Transaction
4.) Add this to the Criteria:
Transaction > Posting
Transaction Line (Records List) > Eliminate and set it to
0
