Restrict Project visibility to the assigned project manager, resources, and sponsors (custom)?
In NetSuite Project Management, we would like only the assigned project manager, project resources, and project sponsor (a custom field) to see the Project Record.
Currently, the default is that when someone’s employee record is set as a project manager or resource, they have access to all project records, not just the ones they are assigned to. Is there a way to restrict that using global permissions, role permissions, or a workflow?
In our project record, we have custom fields such as “Project Department,” which categorizes the projects, and “Project Type,” which subcategorizes them. Maybe we can restrict them by these fields? For example, if the project has Project Department A, only users 1, 2, 3 can see it?
