Turn off Purchase Order Approval Process

We would like to remove the Purchase Order approval process from NetSuite. We no longer want/need any approval process at all on Purchase orders.

Do I need to do more than make the workflow inactive and remove the checkbox under accounting preferences/approval routing for Purchases Orders?
