Costed Bill of Materials SuiteApp Installation Error

Hello, why does the Costed Bill of Materials SuiteApp require subsidiaries feature to be installed? We get the following error when trying to install in our sandbox:

"An error occured during validation of Custom Objects against the account (customrole_costed_bom_role)
Details: To install this SuiteCloud project, the SUBSIDIARIES feature must be enabled in the account.
File: ~/Objects/CustomRoles/customrole_costed_bom_role.xml (m16tpc4keenadozz4tw4)"
