New to NetSuite | How to Reopen and Access Old Reconciliations without Fully Redoing the Statement

edited Jun 2, 2025 2:52PM in Basic Accounting

In NetSuite, after you’ve completed your monthly reconciliation using the Reconcile Account Statement feature, the system locks in those records to prevent accidental changes. However, there are instances where you perform some changes on the transactions that caused it to be unreconciled, you may think that your only option is to delete the reconciliation and start over.

But did you know that there’s less drastic alternative? You can still access the old reconciliation form without having to delete and completely redo the entire statement.

  1. Navigate to Lists > Accounting > Accounts
  2. Edit the Account that you are trying to reconcile
