Item Status Fields - Main Line vs. Location Level

I am trying to identify all items that are marked as DISCONTINUED at the main line level where the Location level is ACTIVE. There is but one ITEM STATUS field to choose from, and that is the Main Line level, so how do I get the Location Level STATUS that is found in a sublist called STATUS BY LOCATION?
