Question about "Expired Promotions will be Automatically Deactivated Beginning April 15, 2025"

edited Jun 2, 2025 2:54PM in Ask A Guru 4 comments

We received this notice today. You can see it here. It is unclear from this notice if this only affects Promotions that have an End Date entered, as it is not a required field. Or does it apply to any promotion that is more than a year old as well, whether it has a start or end date (both, not required fields) or not?

The following two sentences in the announcement say the same thing, but maybe they meant "one year after its creation date" in the second sentence.

"Starting April 15, 2025, all promotions with promotion end dates older than a year will be automatically deactivated. Any promotion created moving forward will also be automatically deactivated one year after its promotion end date. "

Howdy, Stranger!
