Update Location Costing Group on Location Record

Hello,

I need to be able to update the Location Costing Group on a location record. From what I'm seeing, the field is not editable and it's likely due to the location already having related transactions posted to it that have items with the Group Average costing method assigned.

What is the recommended process to update a location costing group in this scenario?
