Custom field in Email record / CRM Message

Hi,

Is it possible to add a custom field in the Message (email) record?

I tried to add via the CRM Fields but the Messages is not listed there.

We are importing emails from a different system and would like to add in the link (that would be the Custom Field that I want to create for the Messages Record) for the attachments on that email as we do not want to use NS File Cabinet to store the attachments.
