In the New to NetSuite | SuiteQL Overview article, we explored the fundamental concepts and capabilities of SuiteQL, including an introduction to the New to NetSuite | SuiteQL N/query: query.SuiteQL object and New to NetSuite | SuiteQL: Understanding the Query.toSuiteQL(). Now, we’ll explore two powerful methods that allow you to execute SuiteQL statements directly: query.runSuiteQL(options) and query.runSuiteQLPaged(options). These methods offer flexibility for retrieving and manipulating NetSuite data using SQL-like syntax.
1. query.runSuiteQL(options)
The query.runSuiteQL() method executes a SuiteQL query and returns results—up to a maximum of 5,000 rows. This method is ideal when you need a fast, direct result set that fits within the limit.
