NSC | Unable to Edit Entity on Intercompany Journal Entry

Scenario

The user is experiencing an issue while editing an intercompany journal entry, specifically when trying to modify the entity name at the line level. This problem occurs in both the Sandbox and production environments. They seek assistance in identifying the cause of this and potential solutions.

Solution

If a transaction undergoes revaluation, including an intercompany journal entry, the Name field becomes non-editable, even with the period reopened.

The user must first delete the Currency Revaluation associated with the transaction to be able to edit the Name field.
