NSC | User Can Still Edit Transaction Even Though AR/AP Tasks Are Locked
Scenario
The user is curious about the ability to edit the item receipt despite the AR (Accounts Receivable), AP (Accounts Payable), and GL transactions being locked at the time.
Solution
Locking transactions for a period prevents users without override permission from posting to the period. If the user were using Administrator role with Override Period Restrictions permission, it is the standard behavior that they will still be able to enter and edit transactions.
