NSC | Is It Possible to Change Period on Voided Transaction?

Scenario

The user has enabled the 'Void Transactions Using Reversing Journals' feature. They intend to modify the Posting Period on the Voiding Journal but receive the error message, 'The G/L impact of a voided transaction cannot be changed.' The user is seeking if there's a workaround for this.

Solution

By design the system does not allow any G/L Changes on a voided transaction even if the periods are open. The ability to change/edit the Voiding Journal is still s system limitation and is filed as an Enhancement already under #206874 Ability to change or edit the posting period of voided transactions.
