NSC | How to Remove the 'New' (gear icon) Column in the Saved Search Transaction Portlet?

Scenario

The user aims to remove the 'New' (gear icon) column in the Saved Search Transaction Portlet while retaining the Edit/View column. This customization is required in the Customer record's dashboard view, specifically within the Transactions portlet (Type=Invoice). Based on a previous solution mentioned, setting the Search Output Type to 'Report' removes both the 'New' and Edit/View columns, which is not the desired outcome.

The user has observed that the 'New' column appears in some custom views but not in others, and they are unsure what determines its visibility. They've compared custom views where the 'New' column is present and absent but couldn't identify any consistent differences. Interestingly, the user noted that the 'New' column is not visible in the Default view.
