NSC | Unexpected Error When Accessing Item List View for a Specific User

Scenario:

You are encountering an "Unexpected Error" when attempting to view the Item List in NetSuite using a specific user account. Other users may not experience the same issue, which suggests a user-specific configuration or view issue.

Solution:

Based on the error behavior and the information provided, it appears the issue is related to a problematic or misconfigured saved search view that is being used as the default for this user.

The saved search used in View mode may contain one of the following:

  • Invalid or outdated filters
  • Incorrect syntax in a formula field
  • Referenced fields that no longer exist
