NSC | Error on Saving Assembly Build: Please configure the Inventory Detail for Item
Scenario:
While attempting to save an Assembly Build record in NetSuite, you receive the following error:Please configure the Inventory Detail for Item.
Upon review, it was confirmed that the Use Bins checkbox is enabled for the item, which means inventory transactions involving this item require bin-level tracking. However, the system is not detecting the necessary bin information during the assembly process, preventing the record from being saved.
Solution:
To resolve this error, several areas need to be reviewed and updated to ensure that inventory details—specifically bin assignments—are properly configured.
