Implementing AvaTax for NS

Hello I am conifiguring AvaTax for NetSuite SuiteTax.

One of the instructions is to go though each subsidiary and change tax engine from "SuiteTax" to "AvaTax".

It worked for 3/4 subsidies except the MAIN child where all of my tax calc, charge and remittance will take place.

How can I remove the locked fields to change Tax-Exempt and Tax Engine to "Avalara Tax Engine".

I've spoken on other forums and it may be because SuiteTax was enabled in 2024 so this can't be changed but is this true?

I really need this fixed ASAP.
