New to NetSuite | Understanding Role Permissions and Resolving Banking Feature Access Issues

Scenario: Banking Pages Not Loading for a Specific Role

Recently, an employee with a Custom Role was unable to access the Banking Import History and Automated Cash Application pages in NetSuite. You might encounter similar issues if:

  • You or a team member can’t open certain banking or reconciliation pages.
  • Other users with different roles (like Administrator) do not experience the same problem.
  • Permissions assigned to the affected role seem correct, but the problem persists.

This situation often arises after a NetSuite release, like 2025.2, where new features or security enhancements require updated permissions.
