Marking a Purchase Order as "Shipped"

Does NetSuite have a native way to mark a Purchase Order as having been "shipped" from a vendor? These are not dropship orders, but regular Purchase Orders for replenishing inventory or non-inventory items. I don't believe there is any out-of-the-box functionality for this, but I want to confirm before we do something custom. We have a number of saved searches tied to purchase orders where such information could be a benefit and if we could show information like "has shipped" and/or "shipped on" that would be great.
