In our previous article, New to NetSuite | How to Setup Accounts in OneWorld, we covered the basics of organizing your Chart of Accounts.

Building on that, creating accounts in OneWorld allows you to track transactions across different subsidiaries while maintaining accurate records. This section guides you through the setup process, where you can link an account to specific subsidiaries to control where it is used.

Follow these steps to create accounts in NetSuite OneWorld:

1. Navigate to Lists > Accounting > Accounts > New.

2. Populate the mandatory fields as shown below.

Make sure to follow the New to NetSuite > Advanced Accounting & OneWorld category to stay updated.
